Hinweise:

E Yan ist eine junge Bäuerin aus der chinesischen Republik Shanxi, die wir im Rahmen einer PLAN-Patenschaft für Mädchen sechs Jahre lang unterstützt haben.

Ani ist eine mittellose buddhistische Wandernonne, deren Lebensform politisch massiv bedroht wird. Meine Londoner Kollegin Claire Scobie hat Ani auf einer Expedition in eine abgeschiedene Region Osttibets kennen gelernt.

Die ortskundige Ani konnte Claire auf einer gemeinsamen Tour nicht nur durch die Bergwelt des Himalaya, sondern auch in die Nähe heiliger Stätten führen. In „Wiedersehen in Lhasa“ beschreibt Scobie ihre Erfahrungen in Tibet.
